Tuition Payment Information
Fees for Core Professional Trainings and Thematic Workshops
| Core Professional Training on Humanitarian Law and Policy (three days) | 900 EUR |
| Thematic Workshops on International Humanitarian Law (two days) | 600 EUR |
| Core Training on Leadership and Management in Humanitarian Action (five days) | 1500 EUR |
The course fee covers tuition, training material, and most meals. Accepted participants are responsible for accommodation expenses and associated travel costs. For most training locations, participants will have the option to arrange accommodations at a preferred rate.
Payment Methods, Deadline, and Cancellation Policy
Notification of acceptance: Participants will receive notification of admission to the course within two weeks of the date the application in received.
Confirming attendance: Accepted applicants will receive an official acceptance letter via email, to which they much reply to confirm their attendance.
Failure of applicant to confirm attendance: PHAP reserves the right to admit another applicant in his/ her place.
Payment instructions: Accepted applicants will receive payment instructions in their acceptance email. Fees should be made payable to ‘PHAP aisbl’. Payments should be made in euros unless otherwise agreed. Individuals may pay membership and event fees separately or together, according to their preference.
Payment methods: Payments may be made online using a credit card or via wire transfer.
Payment deadline: Training fees must be received at least 28 days prior to the start of the course.
Failure to meet payment deadline: PHAP reserves the right to give the accepted participants’ place on the course to another applicant.
Acceptance to training after regular payment deadline: PHAP may accept applicants to a training course who have applied after the regular payment deadline. In this case the participant should make the payment by the date stated on the invoice received.
Cancellation by participant prior to payment deadline: The participant may opt to participate in an alternative training at a later date within the next twelve months or receive a refund of their fees, minus associated bank charges.
Cancellation by participant after payment deadline: No refund will be provided.
The organizers reserve the right to cancel any training or workshop. In this case, PHAP will fully reimburse any associated course fees received from registered participants. PHAP’s liability is limited to the reimbursement of course fees only.
