All In Diary Co-Founders Shortlisted for BOND Volunteer Award 2019

Linda Richardson and Gill Price, co-founders of the All in Diary (AID) have been shortlisted as finalists in this year’s Bond Volunteer Award.

We are delighted that AID co-founders Linda Richardson and Gill Price have been shortlisted as finalists in the Bond Volunteer Award 2019. This annual award highlights exceptional people who have made an outstanding contribution to their organisation and the international humanitarian and development sectors.

The Bond award recognises the significant impact of volunteering on humanitarian and development work, ranging from weekend volunteering to working on programmes and fundraising, to volunteers using their expertise working in any parts of the world.

For the past 12 years, Linda and Gill have been working on a voluntary basis to establish the AID as an up-to-date and succinct guidance for humanitarian workers, in a convenient form available in multiple languages. Drawing on the advice of a large number of experts – also contributing in a voluntary capacity – the diary serves as a vital resource for humanitarian practitioners, with the print version of the AID having reached well over 20,000 humanitarians and visitors to the online version exceeded 100,000 last year, from 183 countries.

AID has been part of PHAP since 2018, continuing the development of this important resource as part of PHAP’s support to staff and volunteers in humanitarian action worldwide.

The award winner will be announced on 18 March 2019.
