Webinar on negotiating access for humanitarian protection

Join PHAP together with the NRC and the GPC for the second webinar in the access and protection series

On 28 May, PHAP together with the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) and the Global Protection Cluster (GPC) are back for the second session of the webinar series on access and protection. This online session will focus on challenges that practitioners face when trying to gain or maintain access for protection, whether negotiating directly for protection programming access or negotiating for humanitarian access in general while considering protection concerns.

In this webinar, you will hear from a panel on experts who will discuss some of the situations that practitioners face, such as access being restricted in case protection concerns are raised; protection reporting conflicting with access; and authorities restricting the channels for access.

Event registrants also have the opportunity to share examples of these types of situations in order to ensure that the discussions are as relevant as possible to your work.

You can also catch-up on what was discussed during the first webinar of this PHAP, NRC and GPC series on “Lessons from restricted operational contexts and their application to the COVID-19 operational environment” with audio and video recordings on the event page

This webinar is free to attend.
