Online Clinic on Coordination and Implementation Challenges in Camp Management

What kind of benchmarks and standards can those managing camps and camp-like settings use as a reference point in their work?

On 9 September, PHAP together with the Global Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM) Cluster have organized a webinar to discuss the challenges faced in camp management and how the draft Camp Management Standards can help to address these. During this online clinic, you will hear from experienced Camp Managers who have been involved in the standards development process whose final draft form version is now available for a final round of reviews.

Participants will hear from Veronica Costarelli, CCCM Program Support Officer (Syrian Cross-Border Humanitarian Response), IOM Turkey; Dher Hayo, Global CCCM Cluster Coordinator; Kate Holland, CCCM Cluster Coordinator, Iraq; Jennifer Kvernmo, CCCM and Protection Capacity Building Coordinator; and Thomas Stork, Global Emergency Specialist, EMPACT, Danish Refugee Council (DRC).

The webinar will also launch an online consultation survey for humanitarian practitioners to provide their views on the final draft of the Standards.

This webinar is free to attend. Camp Management specialists as well as specialists in other areas and generalist humanitarian practitioners with an interest in camp management are encouraged to attend the session.
