<p>Chris Rush, Senior Programme Officer for Asia, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with African and Asian Studies from the University of Sussex and a Masters of Arts degree in Refugee Studies from the University of East London. He worked for 10 years at the Refugee Legal Centre in the UK and then worked in Thailand for the International Rescue Committee. More recently, he spent 3 years as the Protection Adviser for the Danish Refugee Council in northern Sri Lanka. He joined Geneva Call in January 2007&nbsp;where he is&nbsp;mainly focusing on humanitatian negotiations and on&nbsp;the conflicts in Sri Lanka, Philippines and Burma/Myanmar.&nbsp;</p>
