<p>Bo Viktor Nylund is a protection and legal practitioner who has focused on state and non-state actor responsibility and accountability in the implementation of human rights throughout his career.</p>

<p>Since 1998 he has worked with the United Nations Children&rsquo;s Fund (UNICEF) in the areas of corporate social responsibility, child protection, humanitarian policy and planning, and children&rsquo;s rights based in Bangkok, Colombo, Khartoum, New York and Geneva. In 2010, he also supported the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in the development of an Office-wide strategy for engagement in humanitarian action.&nbsp;Currently, Bo Viktor is heading the newly established Corporate Social Responsibility Unit in UNICEF&rsquo;s Private Fundraising and Partnerships Division where on behalf of UNICEF he has led the development and the roll-out of the Children&rsquo;s Rights and Business Principles and the General Comment On State obligations regarding the impact of the business sector on children&rsquo;s rights, Committee on the Rights of the Child.</p>
