<p>Jess Shaver is a qualified teacher and has a Masters in Sustainable International Development. She has diverse experience in development, conflict and post-conflict contexts. &nbsp;She is currently based in Nairobi, Kenya as the&nbsp;Regional Education in Emergencies Technical Adviser for Save the Children, supporting Education Cluster work and emergency education programming in Ethiopia, Somalia and South Sudan.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Prior to this position, Jess worked with the Education Cluster in South Sudan, focusing on ensuring education is a part of the coordinated humanitarian response to acute emergencies. She also&nbsp;managed programmes concerned with providing quality education in IDP camps and hard to reach, non-signatory areas of Darfur for two years.</p>
