What will humanitarian crises look like 15 years from now? And what strategies can we employ to help us prepare? Populations are growing alongside increased inequality. Conflicts are becoming more protracted and regionalized and environmental disasters are on the rise. Humanitarian needs, both short- and long-term, will be acute and widespread. The aid sector will need to evolve and adapt. Opportunities and challenges lie ahead, and international NGOs in particular, will need to be strategic in how they are innovating in their own structures to promote a more inclusive and effective humanitarian ecosystem between now and 2030.
In recognition of UN day in Geneva, the Interagency Regional Analysts Network (IARAN) is launching The Future of Aid: INGOs in 2030, a report which analyses the future of the humanitarian and development sectors, within wider global changes, and the role of international NGOs within it.
IARAN will be presenting their findings in French with Michel Maietta, IARAN’s Director, and in English with Eilidh Kennedy, Chief Analyst at IARAN. Please register here to confirm your attendance.

Pour célébrer la Journée des Nations Unies, IARAN (Inter-Agency Regional Analysts Network) lancera le rapport Le secteur humanitaire à l’horizon 2030. Le rapport analyse l'avenir des secteurs humanitaires et du développement, dans le cadre de changements mondiaux plus larges, et le rôle des ONG internationales dans ce contexte.
